Description

Woven on the handloom in Mangalgiri, this charcoal grey saree carries the quiet discipline that the cluster is known for. Fine zari checks run across the body in a soft grid, catching the light without shouting. The warp is set in single ikat, so the motifs are dyed into the yarn before weaving, and they gather at the pallu and temple border in deep maroon. It is a saree for long days and easy evenings, restrained in colour yet full of detail when you look closely.

Handwoven pieces naturally feature slight variations in weave, color, size, and dye—these are inherent to artisanal craft, not defects. Minor color bleed and shrinkage may occur; gentle, separate care is recommended.

Size & Fit
